Crafty Volunteers invites you to join in on any of the “projects” that we have going at present.

Some will be based in your region and run by a crafting group or organisation near you. Others will be nationwide promotions run and/or promoted  by Crafty Volunteers.

Thanks for joining in…

# Lockdown Charity Crafting

During the Covid 19 alert levels 3 and 4, we invite crafters to dedicate themselves to making items that charities around NZ will urgently need. Collection and distribution will depend on protocols set by our charity partners and the government alert levels.

By getting involved with this promotion you could be one of five people to win a $50 yarn voucher from Kapiti Knitting & Lotto in Paraparaumu.

Previous Projects:

Singlets and Slippers

The promotion for September to October 2019 is “Singlets and Slippers”, where we are encouraging crafters to help boost the stocks of much needed items for our charity partners that provide warmth for babies and toddlers, and to make the feet of youngsters, teenagers and adults warm and snuggly.

We are holding a number of events around the country on 12 October 2019, where we welcome crafters and our charity partners along.

Bears and Squares

We are making toys for our charity partners to build stock prior to their Christmas distribution to people in need. And we are making squares early enough to give us plenty of time to get blankets sewn together prior to next years autumn chills.

This promotion will run from mid September to mid November 2018, and we will be holding a number of events around the country on the 3rd of November to bring people together and hear about the great work that our charity partners are doing.
