Good morning everyone,
I hope that Labour Weekend was as glorious in your part of the country as it was in Wellington. Hubby was working late shift, but we still got out on our motorbikes in the mornings, and I got some crafting done – and have nearly finished another blanket for the Bears and Squares event on the 3rd…
Pics of your creations
I’ve picked up a selection of Bears and Squares photos that some of you have been posting on the Charity Yarn Stash Facebook Group.
I really don’t need to say anything – other than these all look amazing! Thanks to everyone who is getting involved from all around the country.
Just a reminder that we are 11 days away from the Bears and Squares events in Wellington, Christchurch and Tauranga. I’ve also heard that some of you are getting together with friends and family in your homes on the day, so you can share the fun of charity crafting and enjoy each others company – I do hope you share some pics with us…
Just a reminder of the three public events that are happening on the 3rd of November:
Wellington – 10am til 6pm – Newlands Community Centre, 9 Batchelor St, Newlands.
Tauranga – 10am til 2pm – Waipuna Park Pavillion, 25 Kaitemako Rd, Welcome Bay.
Christchurch – 10am til 2pm – Kiwi Family Trust, 420 St Asaph St, Phillipstown.
Remember – the entry fee for each event is either a gold coin donation, or a plate of food to share,
Offline for a week
Just to let you all know, that I’m away for a week now, celebrating an awesome friends birthday in Rarotonga with about 12 others. This means I’m pretty much offline (social media and email) during that time, so please keep in touch with your Charity Yarn Stash Coordinators in the meantime. I’m looking forward to seeing more pics of your fabulous work like the ones above when I get back.
Until next time…
… when it will be just a few days out from our Bears and Squares events… I’m excited for the 3rd of November already!!
Happy crafting everyone.
Yours – with love, compassion and hope.
